Preston Symphony Orchestra with guest Soloist
Martin Roscoe
We are delighted to welcome to Chorley Martin Roscoe, one of the UK's leading concert pianists.
Martin is going to be performing the popular and well known Concerto in A minor by Edvard Grieg.
The other pieces in this concert are Wagner's Prelude to the Meistersingers, which will start the concert in true Wagnerian style.
The concert will conclude with the wonderfully lyrical 8th Symphony by Dvorak.
This is truly a concert not to miss!
Tickets go on sale at 9am this coming Monday 24th November 2025.
Please see bottom of this page for our concert dates for 2026 and 2027

Porsche Candlelit Concert
Sunday March 9th 2025
Our friends and Corporate Partners Porsche Preston very kindly hosted our first concert of the 2025 season at their showroom in Preston.
The evening broke at least two records -
Preston Symphony Orchestra are the first amateur orchestra in the UK to perform in a car showroom
AND
They are the first amateur orchestra in the UK to SELL-OUT their first FOUR CONCERTS in a row!!
The orchestra played a selection of beloved classical pieces and popular pieces from stage and screen.
The orchestra also launched its Corporate Sponsorship opportunities scheme, giving businesses 3 different ways they could support the orchestra.
The evening was a huge success with another standing ovation, enjoyed by all!
Thanks go especially to Amy Lancaster-Hall (Group Marketing Manager) and Jess O'Neill (Senior Marketing Executive) for their hard work and planning in supporting the orchestra and making the evening special!
